NEWARK – The Division of Consumer Affairs has proposed amendments to regulations regarding contracts for health club services.
The proposal would require registered sellers of health club services to post a notice at any location where a consumer signs a contract, advising consumers of their cancellation rights and how to exercise them. A registered seller of health club services would be required to post this notice on its website if it allows consumers to enter into contracts for services online.
The proposed amendments, and information on how to submit a comment by December 17, 2021, can be viewed here.
