NEWARK – The Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers has proposed new rules regarding abandonment of applications for licensure.

The proposal establishes standards as to when the Board may consider an application for licensure abandoned.  The Board believes that any application which is not completed within one year of the first notice to the applicant detailing application deficiencies should be deemed abandoned as the applicant has taken no action to obtain the license during that time.

The proposed new rules, and information on how to submit a comment by May 6, 2022, can be viewed here.
