Attorney General Platkin Announces Charges Against 25 People, Four Companies, in Large-Scale Diesel Fuel Theft Scheme
Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) announced charges against 25 people and four companies for their alleged roles in a multimillion-dollar scheme that used stolen credit card information to fraudulently purchase tens of thousands of gallons of diesel fuel and then resell it to trucking companies and other fuel providers.

Platkin announced that the Division of Consumer Affairs sent letters to nearly 11,000 New Jersey businesses reminding them that selling flavored vapor products is unlawful and directing them to cease any such sales immediately.

AG Platkin Announces Leadership Transitions in Department of Law and Public Safety
Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin announced that Deputy Director Theresa Hilton will become the Director of the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) when J. Stephen Ferketic leaves the office later this month to pursue a leadership position in the private sector. Attorney General Platkin also announced that Assistant Attorney General Sara Quigley will assume the Chief of Staff position, a position vacated late last year.
