Attorney General Platkin Sues Trump Administration Over Unlawful Conditions on Critical Federal Funding for K-12 Schools

New Jersey Attorney General Platkin announced that he and a coalition of 18 other attorneys general have filed a lawsuit challenging the U.S. Department of Education’s threat to withhold federal funding from state education agencies and local school districts that maintain lawful programs and policies that promote equal access to education in K-12 classrooms.

Attorney General Announces Charges Against 11 Members of International High-Value Car Theft Ring

Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Criminal Justice announced charges against 11 people for their roles in an auto theft ring that allegedly targeted high-end vehicles, burglarized homes to get the key fobs needed to steal the cars, stored the vehicles in parking garages in the Bronx, New York, and eventually shipped them to Western and Southern African countries.
