Governor Murphy signed the Seabrooks-Washington Community-Led Crisis Response Act, which establishes New Jersey’s Community Crisis Response Advisory Council (CCRAC). The Advisory Council is tasked with providing the Department of Law and Public Safety with a report detailing best practices and recommendations related to the development of a community crisis response program.

Members
The CCRAC comprises:
- The Deputy Commissioner of Public Health Services in the Department of Health, or a designee;
- The Assistant Commissioner of Division of HIV, STD, and TB Services in the Department of Health, or a designee;
- The Director of Emergency Medical Services in the Department of Health, or a designee;
- The Executive Director of the Division of Violence Intervention and Victim Assistance;
- The Director of the Division of Fire Safety in the Division of Consumer Affairs;
- The Attorney General, or a designee;
- Three public members appointed by the Governor;
- Two public members appointed upon recommendation of the Senate President; and
- Two public members appointed upon recommendation of the Speaker of the General Assembly.
The Attorney General, or a designee, serves as Chair.
