Mary Jo Flaherty , Interim Director
Interim Director Flaherty has over 40 years of New Jersey casino gaming regulatory experience. For over 12 years since September 2011, she served as a Deputy Director of the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Starting with the Division in May 1980, Interim Director Flaherty became a supervising attorney in 1986 and primarily has managed casino licensing and employee licensing, as well as held responsibility for many legal and administrative, matters at the Division, rising through the ranks from a then Deputy Attorney General V to Assistant Attorney General. Prior to a judicial clerkship and work with the Administrative Office of the Courts, Interim Director Flaherty graduated from Seton Hall Law Center where she was an editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.
